In recognition and respect for the eternal love and utmost care of humanity let's light a lamp of hope for "Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Awareness Campaign."
There are several numbers of lives among us affected by Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). Many of them had already surrendered their lives and few are still in their struggles. Even though the medicine 'Spinraza' & Risdiplam have been developed as a cure for this condition, it has to be taken lifelong and the affordability is far ahead from the reach of the commons. But if this researched and effective medicine could be manufactured in our country, it'll affordably serve its purpose. Along with the reach of this cure to every affected individual, there is a necessity of creating a space for rehabilitation. 'Oridam' is one such visionary project of MIND (Mobility in Dystrophy).
MIND Trust in association with Prajaahita starts the "Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Awareness Campaign" from August 1 throughout the month till 31st. In this awareness initiative, we welcome all your blessed presence with candlelight as a light of hope!
